AUTOKAY Carburetor Kit for Walbro WT 997 WT-997 WT 664 WT-668

Started 2nd pull and runs well out of the box. I had to put maybe a 16th of a turn to the idle speed screw but that's all. Came with good gaskets too and a few extra goodies. Guess I can't say anything towards the quality control as I only got this 1 so far but for the price you could order 2 every time and still be saving over a name brand carb.

My Hpi Baja 5b 23cc was spitting and sputtering due to old fuel lines and a broken return fuel port on carb. Installed the new carb a little tuning was required no biggie. Now she is back up and running like a champ! Oh I went ahead and put a new spark plug in for good measure too!

WT style carburetor. I swapped out a small wt71 homelite carb with this.

Everything fit great on fire hammer 1/5 scale only had to adjust idle. Didn't have to mess with high low jets.

Carburetor never ran correctly. Does not respond appropriately to adjustment of the high and low needles. If you're looking to waste a couple bucks and a couple hours of frustration then this is the one for you.

This thing is junk. Never even got it to prime. Feed side of the carb is blocked somewhere. Blew into it with clean line, and it's plug up solid. Primer bulb is super stiff. And had a super sharp piece of mild flash right in the middle that pokes you right in the finger. Seems solidly made, but just didn't work for me. EDIT: after going through it, it seems to have been improperly assembled. Almost all of the gaskets were mis aligned and that probably what blocked it up. It works great now. Runs fine but isn't compatible with walbro. The screws and gaskets are different. I tried getting the screw off the throttle plate but it was held in with loctite and stripped the screw, making this thing useless to me.

excellent, i installed this on my Baja 5B 1/5 scale R/C and it works perfect, no issues with gaskets or anything, the hoses are a bit soft and really easy to crush so if you are worried about that you might want to spend more on hoses, but for this price you can't really expect everything

wasn't working when installed, hard time to start and was stalling/bugging,...had to tearing it down unblock the prime bulb return and one of the idle jet was also blocked, also had to adjust the metering lever (too high) it is now working
