How do you set am or pm to the alarms?

First, you have to swtich it from 24hr format to 12hr format. Then as you are setting the time the am and pm will automatically show.

I sleep thru about 15 alarms as well as my 4 dogs( Chihuahua Miniature Pinscher mixes) like nobody would believe.is it truly loud?

Its loud but difficult to set the alarm. We returned ours.

How long does alarm sound for ? For a few seconds or till you turn it off ?

The alarm will last till you turn it off.
