These work great once you get them tight. That was the biggest problem with them. They kept turning up and beating the slide rails on the trail. They sure beat the spring type though. The cables are very thick. You don't have to worry about backing up with them when in use and breaking them. My buddys seem to break at least one spring type every trip. Plan the location well so you have a place to latch them when not in use.

These worked but did not install the way they should. I lost one of the tips on the trail twice and there is no carbide on the end of the tips it’s just a bent piece of metal

These ice scratchers really work! I have a Yamaha Venture that doesn't get enough snow on the slides and these really work in any kind of condition. This is by far the best investment that I made for the sled. I would recommend placing some kind of thread lock on the threads of these.

Worked great until cable strands broke at crimp , now back to Duraflex for me.
