Ideal for Off-Grid....
This works perfectly with my Starlink Gen 3 via my solar/inverter off-grid set up. I have had up to 7 devices at once connected with the snow melt on with no issues after 3 months of running it 24/7.Although it does get warm, but not hot.I would recommend this item, if you know how to wire 12v systems.

Worked perfectly!
The media could not be loaded. I was skeptical about this at first. But I gave it a shot. it was very easy to add a cigarette ligther plug. The supplied connector made it very easy to connect the cig plug.Went camping on our travel trailer for 3 days, we had this running ALL the time, 24 hours. We never had issue. The unit did not get hot at all. No issues with Starlink at all.

Works as it should
Comes with the connecters needed for splicing the power wires.Does not come with a fuse so had to add a fuse holder and fuse, keep that in mind. This can power the stock router, replacing the 120v unit supplied.Using the dish with 12vdc buck converter directly is a much more efficient way than using an Inverter to power 12vdc to 120vac then back down tot he required 57vdc for the router/dish.This can also be used with a POE injector to eliminate the Starlink router all together, allowing your own router to be used.

Not good
Will power the starlink however, the dish buzzes and the lights on the 12v system flicker. The converter itself gives a very high pitched whining noise. I do not trust this not to damage both the 12v system and the starlink in the long run.

12 to 57volt DC converter Needs A Good Strong 12v DC Supply to Work Reliably
Power supply DC converter was what I wanted to try with my StrLnk Gen 3 dish. I didn’t want to use an AC to DC Converter in my “off the grid” cabin. Looking for a quiet, as needed, solution. I don’t run my dish 24/7, I power it up occasionally, but if i do run it for hours I’ll switch to full cabin generator. This adapter has worked flawlessly when needed, but i found that it worked better when running off a large deep cycle battery. It didnt’ do well off the solar cells. With the right consistent amperage supply is should power the Gen 3 router and dish with no issues.

Did not work at all on my Starlink 3.
Did not work at all on my Starlink Gen 3. Even though checking the voltage coming out of the converter, was EXACTLY the same voltage as with the OEM power supply, checking with a digital meter, the Starlink modem would not boot up and function. The power indicator light would come on, but nothing else would function. Also, the converter itself would get extremely hot while connected. Works fine with the original power supply. Had to return this item.
