It is a good product keeps the tanks Very clean it is a bit of a job to get water running through it and a bit of a pain to clean but other than that very good 😌

Good canister filter. Removable tube connector unit makes it easy to separate the canister for cleaning without much spillage (I still recommend placing it in a bucket first, though). Best thing is the noise level... there is none. Once the air is flushed out, it's virtually silent. The removable internal heater does the trick and the temperature dial is accurate. There are two drawbacks. Firstly, these small Oasé filters have no media trays so, while supplied sponges (if you use them) are easy to remove and clean, biological media has to be physicaly tipped out like you're emptying a coal scuttle. Secondly there's no flow control. Unlike the BioMaster models, you can't restrict flow by moving a lever on the connector unit. That said, on this and on BioMasters, I use Eheim dual valves (see photo) to adjust flow. They're also useful for separating the inlet/outflow pipes without leakage so you can move the canister for cleaning. Thirdly (NO ONE expects the Spanish Inquisition!), there's no separately removable pre-filter like the BioMasters. It's a good nano aquarium filter and terrific if you want to run it in a location where noise levels are important. Plus it's a canister so there's no electricity cables anywhere near your aquarium when you need to stick your hands in the water. If you have the money, I'd recommend a small BioMaster cos they have media trays and removable pre-filters. If you don't have the money for a BioMaster and need a really quiet canister with plenty of room for media of your choice, this is an excellent option.

I really like this filter system. It's doing a great job of cleaning my aqurium water. My tank has been running for 12 days now and the water is crystal clear. Just a quiet hum can be heard and im very happy with that ! No heater hanging in the background and with the filter tucked into the cabinet it allows much better viewing of your underwater world 👍!!

Leaked.. before I even turned on the pump, just on pressure flowing into it from tank as I primed it. Also the clips to open and close are really tight. Spoke to Oase and got a few suggestions to try, it still leaked so I returned it. Will update when the replacement arrives.

I actually saw people on YouTube talking about and using these filters and they said they were really good plus the addition of the heater in the filter is awesome so no longer have a big long glass tube in middle of the tank and helps to make the tank even more natural for the fish as for the filter it’s self it’s working great my water was clear or so I thought beforehand but now it’s crystal clear very impressive filter comes with two bags of carbon 3 sponge and ceramic rings all fits perfectly in it’s own space in the filter and easy to clean and change anything around add or reduce the filter media as you like but the basic filter as it comes is more then enough

Brilliant filter . Good solid build , nice materials . Comes with all sponges and media . Keeps the water crystal clear , gives a nice flow to the tank . Built in thermostat with clear reading .Runs quietly and very easy to clean. Best filter out there for the price .!

Seems to filter well but is very noisy if you are think of having this in your main family room you might be better spending a bit extra!

Overall I'm delighted with this filter and would highly recommend it. So nice (and functional) to have heaters, filters and diffusers tucked out of sight underneath. However with very little information on how to prime and start the filter I still struggle to get it going after a cleanout, my filter seems to struggle pushing the water up the pipe to begin with even when I've fully brimmed it with water. And expect there to be A LOT of water still above the filter seam when you go to open it even if you've tried siphoning it out through the inlet/outlet. Still haven't learnt how to crack the top open except over a bucket. I wish the heater was a little better protected also when taking the top off, new owners be very careful opening the filter. BUT this is a good filter, probably the best I've owned, and certainly would manage 200 litres. Carrying over a litre of biological media, even more sponge and carbon, it's way overkill for my 160litre tank with 7 small fish. The flow is cranked to the max which seems perfect, and the noise is just audible in the cabinet with towels etc.

Terrible instructions. Wouldn't suck water through inlet, had to go and google what was the issue. I wasted at least 2 hours trying to finally get it to work. Not sure why it just didnt work straight up like my other Oase filters do, connect hoses, plug and prime. Filtosmart way to fiddly. Frustrating!!

Leider bekam ich das Gerät mit englischen Steckern geliefert, sodass es unbrauchbar ist für das deutsche Stromnetz. Es war lediglich die Rede von kleinen Abweichungen, aber nicht in dieser Form. Ansonsten war Lieferung und Verpackung tadellos.

Parfait pour mon aquarium de 60 litres. Je vous conseille de prendre ce modèle car le chauffage est inclus. Juste une chose à prévoir une multi prise anglaise car les prises du filtre et du chauffage sont anglaise. Je vous conseille d'ajouter d'autres types de média filtrant. Pour ma part j'ai opté pour de la pierre ponce en fillet. Pour le reste tout est fourni : tuyau, buse d'injection d'eau et buse d'aspiration.
