Carefully remove the decal from the water, separate the clear layer from the paper backing, and place it in the desired location on the headstock. 4. Gently press out any air bubbles and pat dry with a cloth. 5. Allow the decal to dry for at least a few hours. This particular decal is thin and blends well into the headstock; however, you can also spray a clear coat over it.
