My students love reading these books when learning about different grammar!

It is a very helpful book to teach grammar at any level.

She will read them as soon as she gets them, and then wants me to sit and listen to her read it out loud. At 9 years of age she is probably at the upper age level for these books, but she probably will continue to read them for quite a while. She is also anxious to teach her younger sibling everything she is learning from the Cleary books.

My students can't wait to hear these books read aloud because then they know they can read them to themselves anytime! The excitement to begin a new grammar lesson is always keeps my students attentive!

My only critique is the font they use inside the book is almost hard to read. It's all over the page and different sizes. The words that are conjunctions are in different colors, that helps, but I think they could have done a bit better.

My first grade students really liked the book. The language is fun, the pictures are colorful. My only wish is that the book was printed in a larger format.

I used this book to introduce conjunctions, and my students looked it! The book went over the different uses of conjunctions and gave many examples.
