I am surprised at how effective this product is in controlling my dog's barking. My dog doesn't bark excessively when we're out but started barking at the front window at people walking by or barking when kids playing out in garden and she wanted to go out but couldn't. This collar is a really good training tool and quick to work. I rarely put it round her neck but instead just place it in the locations where she's likely to bark. It's easy to fit on the dog and I didn't even have to adjust the sensitivity and she has a big bark! The only thing I don't like about it is the two prongs that make contact with the dogs skin when wearing it. It feels as though it will be uncomfortable for the dog but she's not bothered by it. I would recommend.

It worked for first couple of days then dog just kept barking

We got this collar to help with excessive and aggressive barking towards other dogs as our 2 year old Maltese thinks he can take on the world. We took him off of my sister who unfortunately didn't have the time to look after him properly due to work and child commitments. I tried training him up to be better behaved on walks, but nothing really helped when he would just ignore me once he got in to a frenzy or barking, so I told him I'd show him who's the alpha and booked him in to the vets to have his bollocks chopped off. Didn't seem to make a difference, and he still thought he could take on both of the huskies that live down the street. Found this collar and thought it's worth a try. Put it on him, and for the first time in a while I wanted him to bark. Took a bit of winding him up, but he soon got a zap from it. Perfect. First walk with it, he barked at a dog and the first beep sounded, that he ignored. Barked some more and the second beep. I egged him on to bark again. Zap. Didn't hear another sound from him. This went on for a few days with each dog walk, until I heard him doing some low sounding barks that got progressively louder until it beeped, and he'd stop and pause. The little sod had cottoned on to it, and was testing how loud he can go. He didn't realise I can increase the sensitivity, so 3-0 to me now I think the tally is? This didn't help for long though as he then learnt that he gets 2 chances, and if he pauses then it resets and he won't get the zap... Overall it has worked and he is much better on walks with other dogs. The zap isnt too harsh, just enough to distract them and stop them from barking.

When I returned from a very quiet holiday with my two dogs my miniature schnauzer noticed the difference! He began to yap at every single dog he could hear around the neighbourhood and being a schnauzer he wanted the last word, our peace was shattered and the poor dog was being told to be quiet 20+ times a day, I had to do something for my sanity. An internet research brought up these collars and this one was the best value especially as they have an extra set of batteries and a rather handy led light for the dogs collar. Reviews I had read were mainly good and with a 90 day guarantee it was worth a try. Delivery was quick and the collar was easy to fit a little wiggle to make sure the contacts touched the skin and that was it ready to go. The first day was a remarkable difference maybe 3 barks, one bleep each time and they were stopped by day five I have a reformed dog, no barking at neighbouring dogs, no yapping over excitedly to get in or out of the back door, no joining in when my Labrador barks at visitors just a super well behaved darling of a dog. I am over the moon with the results of this collar and have already recommended it.

Our 5 month old puppy kept waking up at 4.30/5am every morning and barking! We couldn’t just ignore him as the walls are thin and neighbours would be woken up so we brought this in the hope it would help ! I was a bit worried it would scare him but he seems ok with it- just a little confused and startled, it’s not yet vibrated as the beep alone makes him quiet. .The first night we used it he didn’t bark or cry once!! Now he wakes up when we do (we don’t take the mick- 6.30 is a much more sensible time) it’s good value for money as some can be quite expensive- it’s also smaller than some others which is good . I do find it is very sensitive even on lowest setting- it’s not really a problem but goes off when he cries which to be honest isn’t really what I wanted as he should be able to let us know if he wants something - also went off once because the TV was obviously a bit loud. But overall a great product if you want to train barking out of your dog

Thought i would give this a go. Ordered two. One for the dog i look after for a neighbour, who constantly barks. When using this on a walk out if the dog barks, it vibrates with a pitched sound and the dog immediately stops barking. The other i used on a friends dog who barks every day around 4pm for an hour. Same thing. He stops immediately and only needed to use it a few times and he no longer barks. Its amazing. Well worth the money. Good quality. Was able to cut down the collar to adjust to each dogs neck measurements. 10/10

It worked well for the first 6 weeks or so. Now it constantly beeps as soon as it's activated despite my putting in a new battery. Doesn't act as a deterrent since it makes a noise even when my dog is quiet. Bought a similar collar from another seller as I have two dogs and wasn't sure which product to get considering the variety on the market and the other one still works!

Sono soddisfattissimo di questo collare che ho utilizzato per la mia cagnetta beagle . A seguito di incursioni notturne di cinghiali nei campi vicino casa continuava ad abbaiare al punto che ho dovuto ritirarla in casa per tutta la notte per parecchio tempo. Una volta risolto il problema cinghiali ,con una recinzione , restava l' abitudine di venire in casa di notte perché ormai da troppo tempo . Ho provato a dissuaderla dall' abbaiare con il collare , anche se devo dire che ero un po' scettico al riguardo .Sono stato veramente meravigliato perche' da subito ha smesso di abbaiare con solo due bip. Evidentemente ha capito che stava facendo qualcosa di sbagliato . Ho usato il collare soltanto per quattro notti e poi non e' piu' stato necessario perché ha perso l' abitudine di abbaiare alla solita ora ,senza motivi reali per farlo , se non quello di volere essere portata in casa .Inoltre la mattina successiva , quando indossava il collare , era molto serena , pertanto ritengo che per il cane non sia affatto un disagio .

Completely worthless. Triggers out of nowhere, or doesn't when it should. Battery lasts only a few days and then it's expensive to replace. Not recommended at all.

Mi perrita de 3 kg raton de praga, cuando la dejaba sola en casa o sacando alrededor del bloque parecía una mitrallera ladrando...no sabia que mas decir, los vecinos me llamaban la atención y me daba miedo comprarle este tipo de correctivos. Bueno no tuve de otra y se la compre, la comprobé en mi mano después en mi cuello y me puse a ladrar jeje (no hace nada malo)...solo vibra y tiene un sonido (irritante). Dulce es asustadiza y no sabia como iba a reaccionar se lo puse y la he tenido atada y en donde ladraba sin parar: Sorpresa... se puso a ladrar como siempre y el collar a pitar... se miraba a ella misma y se preguntaba que pasa... se puso otra vez a ladrar hasta darle el primer toque de vibración... desde entonces empezó a dar "intento" de ladrar que es unos tonos muy bajos y encuanto pita se me acerca ... no tiene miedo solo esta extrañada y no ladra y eso en solo unos minutitos de tenerla. Hoy la deje sola 2 horas con el collar puesto y la encontré como siempre recibiéndome con la pancita arriba...dormilona y con juguetes por todo lado... osea fue ella misma sin ruido. La saque a pasear como siempre pero como es de día sin collar para que no se reprime del todo el perro que lleva dentro...pero no ladra...muy poco a ratitos y sin nada! Ni collar ni gritándole! Ademas mis vecinos me han dicho que no la han escuchado llorar o ladrar mientras ha estado sola!! La recomiendo 100%! En solo un día de experiencia deja de ladrar.

Bij onze yorkshire terrier werkt het echt, Nu zijn we ook aan het trainen en hij wordt sowieso wat rustiger nu hij twee is. Maar blaft hij toch dan roepen we hem direct bij ons en als hij stopt met blaffen dan belonen we hem.
