These film packs contain the battery, correct? I saw another seller's packs and it indicated I needed Li ion batteries.

The battery is inside the film packet. It's brilliant. You just insert the film and the camera/flash works. Enjoy!

How many photos will this pack take?

8. My dropped my camera and broke it. So I have about 4/5 packs of unopened film I could sell you as well.

Does it come with the cartridge

This film comes as a film cartridge that goes in the camera. When empty the whole thing is removed and disposed of. It's also serves as the battery in some camera models.
