A few amazon reviewers have complained about there being no sound on parts of the game or all of it. has this problem been fixed with a dl patch?

My son found a work around for the multiplayer sound issue on ps4. If he races one race as a single racer first and then goes to multiplayer the sound works properly (too bad this hasn't been fixed by the dev team).
