Lightweight but surprisingly durable and comfortable

I have had this sleeping pad for over a year. I've rated it 5 stars for the price and durability. I use it as a pad between my sleeping bag and my canvas cot at my off grid weekend place, and probably have 50 nights on it total. I'm 6'2" and 300lbs, so I haven't been kind to it. I've also used it car camping in the bed of my pickup truck. It's very light weight and compact, yet it inflates to a comfortable pressure and holds that pressure for several days. It has a built in pump, so no extra inflation equipment required. I bought it only expecting it to last for a weekend or two, and it has just kept right on going. I wouldn't try to use it on rocks or bare soil, but if you have a ground cloth to protect it, it should last very well.

Very nice beginner pad for camping

As someone who is just getting into camping and didn't want to just raw dog my sleeping bag on the bottom of the tent where you can still feel the hard ground, its pretty damn good. Albeit, I'm not one of those people that has tried 10 different sleeping pads. The most experience I have had is laying on the hard ground and also trying the fun display sleeping pad they have at IREI on top a bed of smooth rocks. The cool bits:- SO easy to put back into the carry baggy. The sides have little button clips that are supposed to potentially connect two beds together but it can ALSO be used to fold the bed into 3, length wise, and clip itself together to make it even easier to roll it back up. Fantastic.-Yes, you can clip it to another sleeping pad. This is only a plus if you either want a nice big space for yourself with two mats, or if you're lucky enough (or unlucky) to have another human that wants you close enough to sleep.-Nice and easy to pump. No need to bring a separate pump or anything . Simply step on the appropriate spot a couple times and get it going. I found it best to cover the hole while you're stepping down on it to pump. The sucky bits:-The one that everyone is going on about. This damned pillow. Since most of your body is going to be the part that is heavy and pushing all the air up to the pillow, its going to be the most aggressively hard part. This wouldn't be as bad if it wasn't just so high. If you prefer a good height to your head, good on ya. This isn't the case for most people so everyone will be talking about this pillow. I like my head very low so I found myself actually slipping my body down far enough to avoid the pillow. Luckily its still long enough for me to do this comfortably (I am 5'9).-The pad slides a bit. Not terribly but just enough that you notice sometimes. I would find my head touching my tent, slide the pad back down a little, and a couple hours later I am back on that tent wall.TLDR:In a world where sleeping pads at camping stores and from name brands are anywhere from 50 to 250 bucks, I'll take this one. The thing was 27 bucks and I only go camping occasionally. If I had the money to spend, I'll put it toward a cot to add to sleep with but hey, budget campers unite. Its a great place to decide if sleeping pads are for you and don't want to stick all that money into that big name one. If you end up being someone that needs a foam or different type of sleeping arrangement, its 27 bucks and Amazon makes returns easy. Happy camping!

Lightweight, full-length, and surprisingly comfortable

I’m usually uncomfortable on most sleeping pads, but I actually slept okay on this one — which says a lot. It’s lightweight, packs down small, and the full-length design was great for keeping my legs off the ground. The built-in foot pump is a nice feature, though I don’t think it ever fully inflated all the way. Still, it was plenty cushy for me, and for the price, it’s a solid five stars.Great option for backpackers who want comfort without the bulk.

Easy to blow up, carry and fold up - But a bit too thin for me

These are great as far as simplicity for blowing up. They are light to carry, easy to fold back up. They just feel kinda flat to me. I ordered 3 of them and one seems to have a hole bc it leaks. I guess for the price they are good, but I wont buy again.. Ill just make my kids use these but Im middle aged so I need something with more cushion. And now I have a flat one so eh. 3 stars for effort.

This is excellent!! Seriously!! Never using an air mattress again!!!

So I went on a 10 day camping trip for a college class when I had only ever camped maybe 2 nights at a time before this. I had always used an air mattress to do this, but because we were going to be so remote, I was horribly worried about the logistics of inflating it. My aunts showed me a version of this like 20x more expensive, lol, so I did my own searching and found this product.Let me just say that I have NEVER in my life used a product that comes in a bag and been able to fit it back into said bag with any amount of ease (or at all, sometimes) before this. I’m still blown away by it.But first: you unroll the whole thing and make sure the plug in the back of the pillow is closed, then open the plug in the foot pad. Because my tent was so short, I found it much easier to just use my hand to pump it, sort of cupping it so the plug isn’t completely covered. Sounds semi complicated but I promise that filling this up is incredibly easy and quick- seems to take more than the 100 pumps I think it claims but these are pretty much effortless to do.Close the foot plug when it’s filled- if you pinch the sides it’s deceivingly squishy, but trust me, when you’re laying on it, it doesn’t squish down like that.I’m 5’2 so I may be biased, but this thing is long!! I read a complaint about it being too short but that was definitely not my experience- it barely fit in my tent lol, which was small, but still. I read complaints about the pillow, but if you’re camping for as long as I was, you don’t want a fabric pillow. The fact that it was built in was amazing. I just covered it with a hoodie of mine and slept amazing on this thing (with a yoga mat type of insulator cover underneath it). The sleeping bag slid around on its plastic-y surface a bit which is possibly my only complaint! I bet a blanket underneath that would have solved it. Seriously, I was completely comfortable for 10 days on this thing. It never deflated except for ONE night where the temperature dipped quite a bit, then it’s like 20 pumps to get it right back to where it was. It’s stupid easy to use continually.Ok- now my favorite part!!!!! Deflating it and storing it!! When you unplug the one behind the pillow, 80% of the air poofs out all on its own instantly!! Then I folded both sides into the middle and started rolling- at first, when I tested this in my living room, I did this painstakingly- can you imagine my surprise when there was ample room in the bag for it??? You seriously don’t have to pay much attention when rolling this back up because it fits, with a bit of extra space even, back into the bag. Incredible. FYI I learned not to roll a sleeping bag (like 6 nights in unfortunately) but to just to stuff that mf straight into its bag- seems weird but it contorts to the space around it and is MUCH easier than wrestling it.Every air mattress I’ve ever used had to be reinflated every night to keep it firm, and I’ve had more than one spring a leak and refuse to stay inflated, during significantly shorter outings, leaving me sleeping on the ground, and they’re super loud when you move. This was SO easy to fill, use, and pack!!! It was surprisingly comfortable despite seeming sort of thin, I personally loved the built in pillow, and it was very durable! It’s in perfect shape after using it for 10 consecutive days and I’ll never use an air mattress for camping again because of it! I honestly cannot rave about this enough. I’m SO impressed by it! I did use a pad underneath it but I did it mostly for warmth as I was in the high desert where it gets like 35° at night. Plus it came with patches in case it did spring a leak!Best $40ish you’ll ever spend on a camping accessory, I promise. And it’s incredibly light weight once packed away, if you’re backpacking.
