What a great product - easy on and works perfect !!!
I applied this to an old pair of Keen boots that are my favorite. They looked kind of dingy. I just used my hands to apply and good coat of this Mink Oil. The result was spectacular. Completely waterproof and it turned the leather a little dark. The boots look almost new. I took a walk in a rain storm and water just ran off the boots like a Mink in the water. All around great stuff. 10 stars.

I do like this Mink oil.
This mink oil gets the job done. It works into the leather fairly easy. Only a small clumping issue using the smaller brushed, the end result makes this issue easy to work around.

Minkoil
This minkoil is for boots and leather stuff to protect it from weather and to keep it from cracking and drying out, but I have some leather elephants at my home for decoration that are really big and I use mine for whopping them down to keep the leather from cracking and drawn out This stuff is amazing so if you have any leather that you don’t want to crack, you need to buy this and it comes with a good bit for the price.

Ease of use and great qualty
This is of very high quality, it is as easy to apply as shoe polish, It goes on smoothly and evenly. Be aware that it my darken the color of the leather you are applying it to but not change the quality of the leather. It is water resistant. It sheds water to prevent your leather from becoming dry from the elements. It is safe I all leather produccts from gloves to shoes, boots ,and even Tack, jackets and belts. I used this product on my son's new work boots, plus my own work boots and my hand made leather shoulder strap purse. It's a great product.

MINK OIL AND WATERPROOF
for the hiking , work or tennis shoes, mink oil is the best you can have, make sure it applied to a clean surface first, then i rub it into the leather, suede, plastic etc, what even your needing to waterproof and why>? apply 2 coat about 4 hrs drying time in between coats, then a light spray from any waterproofing spray , ( MAKE SURE WHEN SPRAYING THE BOOTS OR SHOES TO BE OUT SIDE, NOT INSIDE DUE TO THE VAPERS) BEFORE SPRAYING THE BOOTS I PLACE THE ITEM IN THE SUN FOR ABOUT 30 MINS, WILL MAKE THE BOOTS OPEN UP THE POURS OF THE LEATHER AND OTHER MATERIAL TO RECEIVE THE SPRAY BEFORE A UNIFORMED COAT, 1 OR 2 COATS AS NEEDED.

Darker toned leather is a small price to pay for water resistant boots!
About me: I am a total leather shoe nut. I own three pairs of leather tall riding boots, several pairs of leather flats/loafers, and three pairs of leather booties. Application: I took a 100% cotton painters rag and slathered my boots with this product. You really have to rub the oil in to get rid of the white residue that appears when you first start applying. Pay close attention to any seams, as this is where a lot of the water will try to seep in. Result: Walking around a college campus in the rain with sopping wet leather shoe and socks is certainly no fun. This mink oil product protects the leather from being damaged in the rain and my socks from getting soaked! While I was applying the oil, I noticed that my light brown leather booties were becoming a bit darker but I ended up liking the result anyway. I think the darker tone makes the leather look healthier and more conditioned. Even if you don't prefer the darker tones, I think it's a small price to pay for water resistant and longer lasting boots! Makes no difference on black leather. For comparison, here is a link to the original tan leather booties: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00HWWZ9NW?psc=1&redirect=true&ref_=oh_aui_search_detailpage

Bought to waterproof boots. Went on easily and seems to have greatly improved the suppleness of the leather.
