Nice fan, Could be a little tricksy to install
I purchased this fan as a replacement for the loud, one-speed stock fan in my Vintage Cruiser. The product, once installed, is a nice-looking unit, with a simple and descriptive remote. It moves significantly more air than the stock fan, and is much quieter. It’s fairly quiet on fan speeds 1 and 2, and gets a little louder with the higher speeds. That it can blow or suck will be great, depending on what we need in the trailer at any given time.Installation: The roof of the RV is 2 inches thick. No problem, though. In the description on Amazon, it says recommended roof thickness is 37 to 85 mm. For us Yanks, that’s 1.46 to 3.35 inches. Putting the pieces together on the living room floor, I discovered that the minimum roof thickness would be about 2.5 inches. I reached out to the vendor for help, and at first they were very responsive, answering within about an hour. They asked more questions for clarification. But after I replied with the requested info, there was no more communication from the vendor. I decided to install it anyway, and modify as needed. The outside part, I installed exactly as directed, being sure to use plenty of butyl tape under the flange and lap sealant around the edges and covering all the screw tops. I ended up trimming about an inch of plastic from the inside cowl to reduce the overall thickness. Not the neatest job of trimming, but the cut part will be hidden completely for all time. The finished installation turned out great, and you’d never know what an involved project it was - first removing the old fan and all that well-seasoned lap sealant (who’s only jobs in life are to keep the water out, and to stay put forever), then crudely trimming the inside cowl part with primitive hand tools and a prayer. Everything else was easy, from centering the unit into the roof hole, screwing it down and weather-proofing it. The wiring was very straigforward, and then I crammed the wires back up and out of the way, to be hidden by the inside cowl. And finally, screwing the modified inside cowl up to the ceiling. Oh, the screws provided were silver/unpainted. In order for them to look more finished, I spray painted the dozen screws required for the inside work - looks great.

Works wonderful!!!
I originally purchased this fan about five months ago, but have really put it to the test in 100° weather this summer. I have had fantastic fans in the past which were also great but the price was getting a little hard to take the price of this fan was reasonable so I gave it a try. It is extremely quiet if not even quieter than my previous fantastic fan, great remote and features. I cannot recommend it more highly than this. After seeing how great of a job, it does how easy it is to operate and install I purchased two more one for the second event in our large RV and another for our smaller guest trailer. Another great plus, I had to contact the manufacturer because our Largy RV had a thicker than standard roof. The company was quick to respond, knew exactly my problem and went out of their way to help solve it. Great company great product great service. The fan also easily runs on our solar system with no problems. The draw is minimal and operates without missing a beat. Just a wonderful affordable fan.

Nice unit for the price, but fitment could be an issue
This purchased to replace the Fantastic Fan in our 2017 Airstream. This fan is quieter and has more features (can blow in or out, has more speeds, can run in the rain, and has a remote). So far no issues using the fan and I like it better than the original. I will see how it holds up over time, hoping just as well as the original, which still ran fine, just leaked and I wanted to replace since the labor would be the same cost. However, the fan is 360 by 360 millimeters, which is 14.1732 inches!! The hole in my coach was exactly 14x14, so it didn't fit. After several minutes of careful grinding (all aluminum), I was able to install this. For other RVs, it could be more of a problem. The producer needs to make it slightly smaller and it would be a considerable improvement. The original fan was a scootch under 14x14, by the way. Again, I like the fan and money wise it seems to be a real value, just the installation could have been a show-stopper had I not had the means to enlarge the roof opening fairly easily.

Great fan
Just installed this fan and works great!! The installation was pretty straight forward. Once in the fan moves great amount of air. Love the remote and fan in option which allows the fan to bring air inside the rv. Only part missing is the interior piece which is the 5 inch trim but no worries the seller is helping to get me that piece. Overall seems like a great fan so far

Excellent Upgrade
Installation was straightforward and directions were clear and accurate. Exceptional value for the price. It out performed my original fans and the ceiling fan option is a huge plus. I went with the blue tinted covers which I wish I had picked a dark tinted black in hindsight although the blue does offer a nice color to my bathroom. The two units I bought when used in tandem, one pulling in and the other blowing out, make fast work of cooling off my whole camper in seconds on the hottest of days then allowing my ac to put in half the work at getting things under control on 90+ days. Overall I am pleased with the performance and durability of the units. I wish they had come with the 5.5" sleeves as the included sleeve were both to short for my camper but after contacting customer care they offered to send the 5.5" at no additional cost.
