I like that this is pure chaga. The way I prepare it is to boil it for an hour with some ginger root, turmeric root, and black pepper. Then I let it sit for a while, before putting it in the refrigerator. Then the next day I strain out the solids and put the liquid in an ice tea pitcher in the fridge. I love the taste As to the purported medicinal qualities of chaga, I feel that I don't have enough information to comment, tho I do feel that my brew makes me feel more alert.

I've been starting my mornings with a 50/50 blend of espresso and chaga mushroom tea—and it's a total game changer. The boldness of the espresso pairs perfectly with the earthy smoothness of the chaga. It's a great way to get the benefits of both without sacrificing taste. Highly recommend giving it a try if you're looking for a healthier, functional coffee upgrade. P.S. I’ve been also adding a tea spoon of Caramel Allulose Syrup - zero calories and guilt free!

My veterinarian suggested I put chaga tea in the pet water bowl, and I figured the people should be taking it too. I worked out 1 tsp per 4 cups water is about right for us. There is grit, even with the nylon filter, but it’s not yucky or anything. Tastes close to black tea (not like Reishi which is a vile horror!). Animals all drink it without fuss (about 2 tbsp of tea per big bowl of water - just enough to change the color). Only effects I have to report is that I poop a lot. Yep, I said it. Like 4 times/day (where is it all coming from??). But I don’t expect to have significant health changes the next day - this is a long term end game thing. I don’t want cancer. This is not hard to incorporate into our lives. Packaging could be a little better - not resealable and about half full so you have to get your hand dirty getting it out and I don’t dare put it into a different container because it’ll be a crazy dust cloud. Looks like a coffee bag, but it is not. Oh well - life could be worse ;)

This is my third time buying this and find it very helpful for my overall wellness (I had some some stomach issues that went away). Yes, as some have pointed it out it is gritty and not powdered - however, I do not mind. I simply pour a teaspoon in a cup with hot water and let it steep for a few minutes. Sometimes, I do add honey to it but it is palatable to drink plain. This is the only one I found on Amazon that is from Canada. Thanks for reading my review.

Love the product. Been ordering it for sometime. But was disappointed that the package was open on delivery, but there is no way to return the product. A little frustrating….

Recently reading the benefits of Chaga mushroom, made me decide to give this a try. I add this to my yogurt every morning along with lots of other crazy items. Cacoa, ashwaghanda, ground flax and chia seeds, hemp hearts and a touch of almond extract and macadamia milk. Love this combo and have been eating it for years. Plain yogurt of course. I watch my sugar intake. I do add a half cup of blueberries. The chaga mushroom changed the taste of my yogurt a bit but not in a bad way. Am hoping the health benefits are real. You only learn from what you read. I feel great, have a good amount of energy eat well and stay pretty healthy. So maybe everything I do is working!

If you like to add chaga to your morning drink, this is perfect. Just add it to your coffee filter along with your coffee or tea to filter out the grit. Or pour it through a fine sieve into your cup if you are using a french press. There is no discernible flavor on its own but you can drink it that way just fine. The resealable closure is close to the top and if you cut it open like any other bag you may cut below it. I almost did that myself before I found it.

The “powder” is so fine it falls through any strainer , doesn’t dissolve so I’m unable to use as a drink.. it can be sprinkled on food but doesn’t taste great.

Having never used Chaga before I have no reference as to what it should be like. However with everything Ive read the colour mild taste and texture all was on the top of the what to look for charts. I use this in with my coffee and the taste is very good. After a few weeks of use I have noticed my blood sugars are levelling off better. I would like to try the chunks next time to see which I prefer. The only part of this product I don't like is that it doesn't resolve so the sediment is left in the bottom of the cup and you have to be careful not to stir it up while drinking it or its like getting a mouth full of coffee grounds. Over all though I would rate it a 9 out of 10.
