The Browning VPLE-200 series ball bearing pillow block has a cast-iron housing with two bolt holes, eccentric lock, and contact-and-flinger seal. The bearing housing is made of cast iron and has a ball bearing insert for ready-to- installation. Its one-piece construction provides maximum strength and rigidity. This non-expansion-type pillow block has an eccentric locking design that incorporates a precision eccentric collar to mate with the inner ring extension for shaft hold. It is relubricatable, and its contact-and-flinger seal retains lubricant and protects against contamination. This low base pillow block ball bearing is suitable for supporting rotating shafts when radial or radial-and-thrust loads are required. ed bearings combine a bearing ed inside a housing unit. The bearing housing replaces the need for a casting or weldment to position the bearing securely for reliable operation, and its design determines the type of insert bearing. Insert bearings use rolling elements (ball, cylindrical, spherical, barrel, needle, spindled, or tapered) to maintain the separation between moving parts to reduce rotational friction, and to support radial and axial loads.
