JENOLITE Chrome Spray Paint Silver 500ml Smooth Metallic Finish

Did a great job on my metal trims good piece easy to use would recommend

I did a quick test for colour and finish. This has a more a sateen finish, which is what I want. It’s a really pretty silver - in the distant past I’ve had some silvers that made things appear ‘flat’, but not this one. I can’t report how well it adheres/ dries/lasts right now, since I’ve a number of spray-paint projects to do - and some materials still to get before starting. For reviews, this came out as one of the best all round. I’ve researched primers and found one that will do wood, metal and ceramic but need a separate one for plastics. Now to research sandpaper grades/types for all the different surfaces. Then there will be no stopping me apart from awaiting dry days which are warm enough, for best results. Keeping an eye open for a few large cardboard boxes to use as spray booths. Inside I’ll pop a piece of loose card for turning the item during spraying, without touching it. Must remember to wear disposable gloves!

Arrived in good time. I decided to paint some chrome ceiling led light fittings in the bathroom which had deteriated over the years. Applied 2 coats about an hour apart and that was sufficient to give a good finish. The only reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5 is that the finish colour is more grey than chrome. However, I was actually happy with the colour and would recommend the paint unless you definitely require a shiny chrome finish.

Worked very well on a bronze colour garden obelisk.

Good product at a good price, recommended 5 star

Poor. Dried to bright alluminium colour. Spray cap wouldn't stay on during use. Easily marks. Not as good as a similar product at half the price.

Good coverage nice finish used to up cycle ceiling light looked as new

Definitely not chrome, but I used it on the crankcase (uneven surface) cover of my vintage motorcycle and it came out as a good match for the rear wheel alloy. I finished it off with a coat of lacquer and am quite pleased with the result.
