Product Description
Siemens automatic transfer switch includes pre-wired critical circuit branch breakers and provide transfer capability to a select number of circuits, as sed to the entire house. For the chosen critical circuits, the conductors in the main house panel are removed from the breaker and connected with wire nuts to the prewired conductors on the transfer switch. This transfer switch is compatible with Siemens air cooled standby generators.

For use with Siemens generators that use Nexus controllers, the Siemens ST100R12C ST Type automatic transfer switch with 12 branch circuits. With 2-pole, 250 VAC contactors, it is electrically operated, and mechanically contacts for fast, positive connections. It has a 30-foot pre-wired conduit for connecting the transfer switch to the external connection box and a 2-foot pre-wired conduit for moving circuits from the main panel to the transfer switch. The dual coil designed switch has an open transition, 160 millisecond transfer time and is suitable for use only on Siemens air cooled generators (8–17 kW).
The panel provides transfer capability to a select number of critical circuits, as sed to the entire house. For the chosen critical circuits, the conductors in the main house panel are removed from the breaker and connected with wire nuts to the prewired conductors on the transfer switch. Other features include a 160 millisecond transfer time, rating for all classes of load (both inductive and resistive), and silver-plated main contacts to resist welding and sticking. This transfer switch includes an express install kit.

Functions include monitoring utility power, triggering the automatic transfer switch, starting and stopping the generator, exercising the generator, and monitoring the generator for any system faults.This transfer switch is compatible with air cooled and liquid cooled standby generators that use the Type N Nexus controller.
